Site Re-launch!!!

I am very pleased to announce that GHOFS is relaunching with a full team of contributing bloggers next week! As always, I will continue as your Spoiler/Rumor Guru. I plan to bring you bringing you a huge weekly dose of all the good stuff you have grown accustom to coming from me in the past. Hey, why give up a good thing. And with the awesome team of bloggers coming on board, we will continue to have complete General Hospital coverage seven days a week. PLUS we have plans for some brand new exciting features for you.

If you have any General Hospital ideas you would like to see featured on GHOFS.net, PLEASE share them with us in the comments section below. We would love to hear them! We are all excited and eager to begin blogging for you!

There will be life!

Well guys, so far the response for GHOFS contributing bloggers have been overwhelming! I am both humbled and thrilled, to say the least. There is NO WAY I wanted to shut down GHOFS, and finding GH lovers who can blog along with me is the perfect answer.

In a few days, we will re-launch the site and I'll introduce you to the new GHOFS team.

If you are interested in joining as a contributing blogger, see the previous blog! I'll need specifics about what you can bring to the site.

Would YOU Like to Help keep GHOFS Open?

Hello to all my wonderful GH friends! I want to catch you all up on what’s going on, and see if I can come to you begging for help!

Over the past few months, it has become increasingly obvious that I cannot continue the pace with GHOFS.net that I have in the past. I've been too scared to post, in fear that I can't keep up! My workload at the university has shifted and increased drastically at the university. (Did I say DRASTICALLY??)

I have been given a lot of responsibility with a wonderful project for the campus website. I am thrilled with my job, but truth be told, by the time I arrive home late in the evening, I am truly exhausted and just ready to spend time with my family.

I have very much enjoyed blogging for GHOFS and all of you, and do not wish to give it up. I have tried to come up with a solution, and here’s where you all come in! If I can find some help with the site, I think I can continue with part of the blogging. But I would LOVE to have more bloggers to join me. By taking the pressure off by having others blog on GHOFS, we could share the responsibility! I could chime in as time allows.

I am looking for a few loyal GH viewers who would like to blog in GHOFS.net. Here’s the type of stuff that you could have fun with blogging on GHOFS.net:

• General Hospital Promo’s and other GH related videos: These usually pop up on Youtube.com and are very easy to post
• Casting news information: new cast members, cast members leaving
• Breaking News you come across: credit your source, unless YOU are breaking the news, or it’s posted all over the place
• Tweets by General Hospital stars: There are lots of GH stars on Twitter and they say some interesting things!
• Upcoming Events: Who’s where, when
• Spoilers, of course!
• Rumors, of course! (careful on this one… ;)
• If you have access to interviews, that’s awesome!
• If you want to write a special story for the site, that’s awesome too!

I can’t pay you in cash, the site does not make money. (The ads are mostly there for looks ;) What tiny bit of money that may come in from the site help pay for the website address and photobucket account, stuff like that. I will be MORE than happy to give you credit for your postings, lots of thanks and kudos! But also, we would work together on a fun project and keep the site going!

Spiderman hottie to join General Hospital, and more GH News.

RUMORS, Tweets, Oh, MY! It's sure looking like James Franco will be coming to General Hospital for a two month stint, according to several sources. E Online reports James character begins airing on November 20th.

Want some "Lucky" news? How about Jonathan Jackson is back as the original Lucky. Greg Vaughn is leaving, saying TPTB "have chosen to go in a different direction".

Also in the news, Sarah Brown has joined up with The Bold and The Beautiful with a two year contract.

GH Casting News, Gossip and Spoilers

Spinelli and Maxie are set to walk down the aisle, here’s a sneek peak at the couple! Of course we know the two of them will realize just before saying “I do” that the best thing for the two of them is to stay un-married, and in love. A new Cassadine will hit the scene soon on General Hospital. Amanda Brooks has been cast in the recurring role of Mischa Cassadine. Ruthless and ambitious, powerhungry and manipulative, she can be quite the charming and seductive woman on the surface.

As posted yesterday, Sarah Joy Brown has announced her departing date for General Hospital. She later tweeted she felt it was time for the character to come to an end:

Sarah will film her last day on October 9th, set to air in November. There’s RUMORS floating around that Claudia overhears a conversation where she find out that Dominic is actually Dante, Olivia’s son. Will this lead to her final exit on GH?

There’s been a change in the storyline, according to GHH, causing the appearance of Matthew Borlenghi to be postponed until later this year. I’m hearing Matthew is playing the part of Valentin Cassadine.

Many of you may have heard, Constance Towers is returning to the canvas in late fall along with Tony Geary. The date for their first appearance back is scheduled for next Wednesday, September 30th! Will the two Cassadine’s be tied in with the return of Luke and Helena?

A casting call has gone out for a female 17 year old named “Zoe”. Smart, ambitious, focused, secure and self-confident. “Zoe” has a love of learning. While she is a brainiac who wants no distractions for learning, she is also beautiful and has big dreams for her future. Although “Zoe” is not interested in the usual adolescent drama of her age group, she finds herself attracted to the rebellious, troubled young men. Hmmm…I’m seeing a possible hook-up for Michael!
