SPOILERS & RUMORS Carly kisses the Russian MOB boss? 7.31.8

Carly tries to help

Are we going to see Carly swapping spit with the Russian Mobster? According to this SPUMOR, we just might. We know Jason is devastated that Sonny is working with Karpov. Seems he will tell Carly what Sonny is up to, and Carly is also crushed. What was Sonny thinking dumping the organization in Jason's lap and then going back into the mob against him.

Jason tells Carly that Sonny insists he is not doing anything against Jason, it's actually to protect him. But if that's the case, why wasn't Sonny up front to begin with. Carly is convinced Jason needs to treat Sonny like a threat or he will appear weak to all of the other families. Carly tells Jason he can't let Sonny distract him because Karpov will take him out at the knees. "And if Sonny gets caught in the middle, you can't take a bullet for him. That's not your job anymore. You've got to watch yourself. I can't lose you too."

Here is where Carly's plan of action comes in to "help" Jason. She invites Karpov for a drink at the Metro Court, and they end up at the warehouse. Just as they are about to start liplocking, Jason comes from around the corner with a gun. He tells Karpov that Carly is off limits and "chases the mobster away." Jason scolds Carly who then tells him she has Karpov's PDA.

What's next? Well, Spinelli will JACKAL the PDA, of course! Jason takes the PDA to Spinelli who digs around in it and discovers that Carly's life is indeed in danger. Now remember, Carly is also fighting for her marriage. Will this all happen when Jax is MIA? Remember, Ingo R. took time off for the birth of Peanut. Did ya know he delivered that little peanut himself? Yep, that's true!

Nikolas
We've been waiting to see Nikolas let Nadine down by telling her he thinks of her as a sister. I'm now seeing that Claudia will notice these feelings Nadine has for Nik. There could be lots more of Claudia and Nikolas coming up. Yesterday I mentioned a RUMOR that Nik and Claudia will lip-lock again. We may see Nadine walk in on Nik and Claudia during the kiss. I'm also seeing that Claudia may give Nikolas some advice and tell him to listen to the warnings to back off and keep his nose out of where it doesn't belong.

More about Max, Milo & dad
Yesterday, we learned a few details about Vincent Pastore of the Soprano's joining GH. Look for Max to be completely caught off guard and stunned when he learns that his father, Maximus Giambetti is heading to Port Charles. Just how deep has Max taken his twisted story that he is the big bad mob boss of PC? Far enough for Diane to beg Max to come clean quick!

Matt
We begin to learn a little more about Dr. Matt when he talks about having an absentee father. At the same time, will Matt have a growing interest in Dr. Drake for a particular reason?

Kate
I'm seeing a new RUMOR that Kate is somehow connected to Karpov. She could know him in some way. This is going to freak out Sonny. I'm also seeing RUMORS that Karpov has family coming to town. Will Karpov and Kate be related? Will Kate have more relatives arriving in PC?

CRAZY RUMOR of the day…It's a RUMOR, so I'll bring it to ya. This RUMOR may just take the cake. When trying to snuff out the RUMOR of Liz having Carly's baby, this RUMOR goes on to say that Elizabeth and Jason will fake Liz and the boy's death by sending her car over a cliff. Why? The RUMOR says Karpov finds out Jason is Jake's father. (Right…so far RUMORS have said EVERYONE in the mob finds out at one time or another, hasn't happened yet) Who will know the truth? The RUMOR goes on to say the audience, Jason and Spinelli will know, but that's it. They will live in Jason's penthouse. Sounds like a wonderful life the kiddos, huh!

Kent Masters King returns to General Hospital as Dr. Lainey Winters August 18

I have just received word from my friend the Wubqueen over at wubs.net and she tells me we can expect to see Dr. Lainey Winters (Kent Masters King) back in Port Charles on or around August 18th. The mags are confirming King's return this week.

For those of you keeping up, the next time we should see Cody (Graham Shiels) is August 19th! Are we headed towards a Cody/Lainey hookup???

Vincent Pastore to join General Hospital
Soprano fans, look for Vincent Pastore of the Sopranos to head for Port Charles in October, according to Entertainmentweekly.com. Vincent will portray Maximus Giambetti, father to Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood). Daddy Giambetti and will be under the impression that eldest Max is a big-time local mob boss. Could be Max has been doing a bit too much bragging to daddy. Word is Elder Giambetti will not be happy when he finds out his son's lowly status as bodyguard. Vincent Pastore played "Big Pussy" on the HBO mob hit the Sopranos. Pastore can be seen beginning later this week on ABC, and SOAPnet as part of a campaign giving people "permission" to watch soaps.

Maxie and Matt
The new SPOILER pics have buildup of a Maxie and Matt storyline. I mentioned Monday I didn't have much for these two as a couple as of yet, but we know TPTB didn't bring Jason Cook on the show to be just a pretty boy/bad boy! In addition TPTB ultimately did not expect the HUGE success of Spinelli and Maxie. So, how do they write for Maxie and Matt? They hope for big a love triangle, of course! However as a poster said on one message board, they need to clean up Dr. Hunter first. It's not that he is an arrogant, rude doctor. If he in fact is a counterfeit drug dealer, he is a killer.


Eli's Love Child
We've been seeing the SCOOPS that Eli will have a love child coming soon! I'm seeing now that the mom's name will be Olivia Jerome. Also, look for Patrick to take a liking to him.

Sonny and Kate
Seems Sonny will give Kate all the assurance in the world that NOTHING will go wrong at their wedding. He tells her no one will ruin their big day. We know what that means! What all can go wrong…

Carly, Carly, Carly!
I posted Monday that Carly may want to use Elizabeth as a surrogate mom. I thought that HAD to be a load of "you know what"! I'm seeing more about this rumor now. Seems Carly remembers Liz was willing to be a surrogate for Jax and Courtney. Could Carly want Liz to be a surrogate for her and Jax so she can have his baby? Some RUMORS say Carly and Jax talk about the baby they lost. I'm also seeing a RUMOR that Carly will think Elizabeth is interested in Jax. Seems she tells Jason to look after Elizabeth because she is after Jax. At the same time, she will remember the frozen sperm. Doesn't Carly always think women are after her man? I'm not sure how this all ties into each other, but if I see more I will let you know!

Liason
The build-up for the Liason angst is growing! I'm seeing a new RUMOR that Elizabeth brings a present from Cameron for Jason. (If Jason happens upon them in the park, how did she know he was going to be there?) As some posters are saying, get on with the storyline already!

Johnny, & Lulu
I'm seeing RUMORS that Johnny will struggle with Lulu's worsening condition. Johnny may struggle with the reality of what is happening to Lulu and is urged to bring her back to the institution.

As Anthony realizes Lulu is the root of all of Johnny's problems, he becomes more and more dangerous. Can Claudia intervene?

Nikolas and Nadine
I SPOILED last week that Nikolas will confess to Nadine that his feelings for her are that like a sister. Nadine will attempt to move past her feelings toward Nikolas, and their relationship will remain strained but look for Nadine to insisting with the fake drug caper with Matt.

Counterfeit Drugs
Sam and Jerry develop an interesting dynamic over the next few weeks. Look for Sam to threaten go to Alexis with the truth about Jerry, while Jerry will threaten to reveal Sam's dirty secrets to Karpov. As I SPOILED before, Sam will hint to Alexis that Jerry is dangerous, and Alexis will let Sam know she has her eyes wide open. As mentioned before, look for Jerry to cover for Sam when she is almost caught. Look for Sam to question Jerry's intentions when covering for her, and he will admit he couldn't let anything happen to any of Alexis' children.

Sam is becoming dangerously involved in Karpov's business, while Lucky and Nikolas insist she back out before it's too late. Meanwhile, Alexis is becoming increasingly suspicious. Someone warns Nikolas to stay out of Karpov's business. When Lucky and Sam are meeting secretly for a romantic evening, they are almost caught.

I'm seeing RUMORS that Night Shift 3 talks may be underway! Why so early? Seems if this talk is for real, it could be Season 3 might follow right after Christmas. Remember, RUMORS and SALT go together.

General Hospital NEW SPOILERS & RUMORS - Is Laura Sticking Around a While? 7.24.8

I'm seeing more RUMORS about the Sam and Jerry storyline. Seems when Jerry finds out Sam is working undercover, he will cover for her. I may have mentioned Sam warning Alexis to stay away from Jerry. I don't think that will do any good, do you?

There's NEW RUMORS that Genie Frances may return for a bit longer than anticipated as Laura. But don't get too excited yet, I'm still looking into all of the RUMORS floating around, and there are plenty! Some say Lulu will visit Laura, some say she will see her in her mind. I'm seeing some RUMORS that say Laura and Luke will reunite before Genie's departure. Right now, I would say it is all up in the air! Besides, filming hasn't even begun yet!

Remember, Anna and Noah should be hooking up soon. Also look for Robin to arrange a wacky kidnapping with Max and Milo as the kidnappers. Who are they going to nab? Eli Stone, of course. Seems Robin has a plan for Anna to rescue him, but will it land Robin in jail?

Will Claudia strike a deal with Ric? I'm seeing RUMORS that say Claudia wants Rick to clear Johnny of all murder charges and in return she will sleep with him.

August 5 - Spinelli proves no match for a determined Maxie.
