Carly and Jax get the bad news that Michael’s test results indicate he is not showing any improvement. Carly tells Jax that she is going to learn from Sonny and follow his lead by accepting the facts and letting her little boy go. Carly tells Michael that she loves him very much and that while she has to let him go, she will never forget a single moment she has spent with him; she will treasure the memories forever. Unnoticed by all, more brain activity shows up on Michael’s screen.

Matt stops by to visit Robin and Emma. He senses that she is testy, but when he brings it up she gets defensive. He accidentally lets it slip that he thinks she has PPD. Matt then goes directly to Patrick and tells him of his error; Patrick is mad. Patrick had relied on Matt to keep his mouth shut and Matt let him down.
Robin takes Emma to Kelly’s where Elizabeth shows up and proceeds to take Emma out of her stroller to play with her while Robin appears to show resentment. When Robin questions Elizabeth as to her motives for visiting, Elizabeth insists that she spends time with Robin and Emma out of friendship, not because Patrick asks her to. Elizabeth tells Robin that Patrick is adjusting to parenthood too and Robin should cut him some slack. Robin tells Elizabeth that it is easier said than done. After helping Elizabeth out the door with Elizabeth’s order, Robin gets an emergency call from the hospital and runs out the door leaving Emma behind.

Lucky makes his resentment of Ethan be known to Ethan, Luke and Tracy. When Lucky puts his father down, Tracy asks him not to be so curt. Luke tells Lucky that he is following his path while Lucky is following his and Luke respects that. Lucky says Luke doesn’t and leaves. Luke dismisses Ethan from the bar and tells Tracy that he admires her but it is a fight between him and his son and Luke does not want her involved.

Jason and Sam arrive in California to track down Spinelli; they learn that he is missing. Maxie is able to track down the name of the art thief by the coat Cassandra was wearing when Winnifred saw her, which impresses Jason. After learning Cassandra’s name and profession, Jason figures Cassandra needs Spinelli’s help to crack a security code. They figure out where Cassandra is holding Spinelli.

Spinelli is frustrated by Cassandra’s lack of knowledge regarding his cyber skills. He tells her that he works for Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos. Rather than scaring her, Cassandra is happy with the news. She reveals that she planned to kill him after the heist, but now he is more useful to her. She wants Sonny to provide an outlet to launder money for her.
