General Hospital Goes High Def

As GHOFS reported a little while back, General Hospital is going HD! We can expect to see the new look for May sweeps, according to Broadcasting & Cable. During a recent break in March, the upgrade to HD took place, installing new equipment including new lighting in the 20,000 square foot studio. Camera operators and technical directors received training for working the new 16:9 aspect ratio, and make-up artists and actors were able to experiment with the more subtle make-up more suitable for HD.
