A new Cassadine will hit the scene soon on General Hospital. Amanda Brooks has been cast in the recurring role of Mischa Cassadine. Ruthless and ambitious, powerhungry and manipulative, she can be quite the charming and seductive woman on the surface.
As posted yesterday, Sarah Joy Brown has announced her departing date for General Hospital. She later tweeted she felt it was time for the character to come to an end:

Sarah will film her last day on October 9th, set to air in November. There’s RUMORS floating around that Claudia overhears a conversation where she find out that Dominic is actually Dante, Olivia’s son. Will this lead to her final exit on GH?
There’s been a change in the storyline, according to GHH, causing the appearance of Matthew Borlenghi to be postponed until later this year. I’m hearing Matthew is playing the part of Valentin Cassadine.
Many of you may have heard, Constance Towers is returning to the canvas in late fall along with Tony Geary. The date for their first appearance back is scheduled for next Wednesday, September 30th! Will the two Cassadine’s be tied in with the return of Luke and Helena?
A casting call has gone out for a female 17 year old named “Zoe”. Smart, ambitious, focused, secure and self-confident. “Zoe” has a love of learning. While she is a brainiac who wants no distractions for learning, she is also beautiful and has big dreams for her future. Although “Zoe” is not interested in the usual adolescent drama of her age group, she finds herself attracted to the rebellious, troubled young men. Hmmm…I’m seeing a possible hook-up for Michael!

well yes he is annoying but guess what he was on the ABC show East wick and also the guy who played kyle-XY and again you know how keifer keeps on insisting to have sex with Kristina well on east wick he keep pestering some girl to have sex with what is up with keifer and sex he needs some serious help.
Hated seeing Gregs tweet that he would no longer be with GH due to TPTB deciding on the direction change for the Lucky story line.
While I do feel bad for Greg, the fact that Jonathan Jackson is reprising the role makes it well worth it. Lucky has turned into a completely different character since Jackson left back in 1999. It will be nice to finally see the real Lucky again. I can't wait to see Jackson work with Tony Geary again and revive the connection between Luke and Lucky.
What?!? Did I miss something? Is J Jackson really coming back? When was this announced? If true, I cannot WAIT! This would really shake up the Elizabeth/Nikolas/Lucky story.... I too liked Greg, but I think the reason him and Liz kept splitting up is just that he did not have the chemistry with Becky that Jackson did, but the writers could not let go of the great love story they started with L&L... I cannot wait!
oh, and I actually really am liking the Nik/Liz story (they have AMAZING chemistry), so this is gonna make it hard to choose sides...
give me a break! the whole nik/liz thing is sickening! its not ever acceptable to sleep with the love of your brothers life.. ever! thank god jj is back, maybe he can salvage the character of liz before anything else happens! remember the sam/rick thing? hello? fans went from love to hate in the blink of an eye and shes only now gaining back her former popularity! almost completey ruined her character! bty.. need to resurect emily and fast even though i'm still holding out hope that rebecca is in fact emily! how could she ever forgive such a betrayal from her supposed soulmate and best friend?? please back track and fast with this storyline!!
