Daily Recap for Mon 11/16

Hi Everyone!

My name is Dori (although some of you may know me as "StampinGHmom" from my paper crafting blog) I am pleased as punch to be one of the new contributing bloggers to GHOFS. Right now, my area of duty will be to provide you with daily recaps of the previous days episodes. Now, obviously there is a lot that happens in a day on GH! It would take an unbelievable amount of time to recap every single scene and every single line in the episode, so my focus will be to provide you with enough detailed highlights to get you caught up before the current days episode comes on at 3:00. It is my goal to have them posted by 10:00am each day. (I know, I'm already late on the first day!)

So, without further ado...here we go!
Monday:
Ethan arrives at General Hospital to ask Elizabeth to help him try to use her influence to try to get through to Nikolas in regards to Rebecca. He tells her that Nikolas respects Elizabeth rather than just tolerating her like he seems to do with everyone else. He tells her that he’s worried about Rebecca. Elizabeth tells Ethan that despite what he thinks, she doesn’t have as much influence with Nikolas as he believes her to have. She tells him also that Rebecca has no one but herself to blame for anything that may have happened to her since she is the one that set everything into motion by coming to PC already armed with a scheme. She tells him that she wishes Rebecca had never showed up in PC because as far as she concerned, Rebecca’s the worst thing that ever happened to him.

Lulu goes to the Haunted Star to see her Dad but is stopped by one of Joey Limbo’s thugs and told they are in a meeting and not to be disturbed. She panics that he may be doing business with Sonny. Since she knows that Dominic/Dante is collecting evidence against Sonny, she becomes worried that Luke may become collateral damage in his investigation and any subsequent arrests that Dominic may make. Not wanting to blow Dominic's cover however, she reminds Luke that Lucky is a cop and that it would be really bad if Lucky had to arrest his own father. Luke dismisses her concerns; and tells her not to worry. Still, not convinced, Lulu goes to see Sonny and asks him what he would do if he found out somebody was collecting evidence against him. Sonny asks if she knows if he’s getting ready to be busted; and about that same time Dominic walks into the office.

Jason meets with Sonny and tells him that he no longer wants to be Sonny’s enforcer. He tells him that he is afraid that he is setting a bad example for Michael and that he doesn’t want Michael to feel that violence is the way to solve his problems. Sonny agrees that the violence is not something that Michael needs to learn from and tells Jason of his plans to use Luke as peaceful go between with him and Joey Limbo to try and work out a peaceful truce with the Zacchara Family. Later, Jason visits Carly and tells her that about his decision to step away from the violence in Sonny’s organization. Carly tries to reassure him that he has done much more good for Michael than he gives himself credit for; and that she is grateful for taking care of Michael when she could not and letting her have a second chance at being a good mother. Later, when Jason returns to the penthouse, he finds an envelope on his desk and opens it up to discover a picture of a body set up in the exact same position that Claudia’s had been.

Johnny sees Maxie on the pier and she asks how he is doing. She tells him that she understands how he feels as she shares with him how she felt immediately following Georgie’s death. Johnny tells her that she can’t tell anyone that she saw Sonny that night or about the bloody handprint on his shirt. He tells her not to forget that Sonny is a criminal and would act accordingly if he found out that she knew something that could incriminate him. Shaken by his words, she agrees to keep the information to herself ; but panics later when Lucky wants to question her about meeting with Kate’s pool man and whether she saw Sonny that night while she was waiting for him.

Johnny goes to see Anthony in prison and informs him that if he moves against Sonny, he will side with Sonny and will not come to see him again. Anthony appears to appease Johnny by telling him that he's will to "live and let live" as far as Sonny is concerned. Johnny, however is unaware of Anthony's earlier meeting with Joey Limbo, in which they discussed taking Sonny out on Thursday before the meeting that Luke helped to set up.

Elizabeth goes to visit Luke at the Haunted Star and is completely stunned when he tells her that he knows about her affair with Nikolas.
