General Hospital Daily Recap - Nov 17, 2009

Good Morning Everyone!

I’m posting early today for you! Today’s my birthday and I plan to spend the morning doing various “me” things while my youngest son is in preschool. Here's what you missed if you weren't able to watch yesterday's GH.

Dominic walks in to Sonny’s office while Lulu is talking to Sonny and acts as though he had been looking for her. He tells her they can grab a table to order some more of the eggplant dish she liked so much last time they were there. Lulu doesn’t budge and continues to ask what Sonny would do if he knew a cop was gathering evidence. Sonny assumes she’s talking about Lucky and tells her she doesn’t need to worry. He would never make a move against Lucky and besides which no cop had ever been able to build a case against him and no cop ever will.
Lucky and Maxie continue their discussion on the pier and Maxie tells Lucky that she didn’t see Sonny. He gets a strong feeling that she’s lying to him; but she maintains wh at she says.

Spinelli arrives at the penthouse and Jason shows him the picture that he just received. He continues to tell Spinelli the truth about what happened to Claudia, including the fact that Michael was the one that killed her. He emphasizes that it was an accident and no one was supposed to know what happened; but that it was obvious that someone did. Jason pleads with Spinelli to find out everything he can about the photo and who might have taken it.Later Sam stops by the penthouse to tell Spinelli that their PI firm has been hired to provide security for the art show exhibit that Kate Howard is doing. She notices that Spinelli is distracted and he shows her the picture. Meanwhile, Jason also shows the picture to Sonny, who remarks that “even dead, Claudia is causing nothing but trouble..

Patrick comes home to find Robin in the living room surrounded by beer that was on their door step when she came home. He reads the card and finds out they are a thank you gift from a colleague,and former college friend Lisa, for a consult he did for her. He makes a comment about “Naked Beer” and she asks him about it; but he just tells her it’s an inside joke. Later, Patrick invites Mac, Coleman, and Matt over to enjoy the beers and a football game with him. When Lisa calls later to see if Patrick received his gift, he comments that he wishes she was there to share in the fun. Robin hears him and it gives her a moment of pause.

Nikolas tells Rebecca that he is grateful for the idea of the engagement dinner for Lucky and Elizabeth; but he feels as though recent events between him and Luke would make the event uncomfortable for everyone. He also tells her that trying to arrange seating arrangements for the Spencers, Quartermaines and a Cassadine might prove too logistically challenging. She replies and suggests they have a dinner for them at Wyndemere. Nikolas asks why she’s so enthusiastic to celebrate Lucky and Elizabeth’s engagement. She tells him she feels like she owes Lucky a little bit, since he was the one who was fair and nice to her when nobody else really was. They spend some more time talking about Emily and then Rebecca suggests that they return to Wyndemere to enjoy a quiet dinner together, an idea that Nikolas quickly discourages by telling her he has conference call with business associates from Italy.

Sonny tells Lulu he appreciates her stopping by; but he and Dominic have business to discuss. When she leaves, Sonny tells Dominic that he doesn’t want Lulu dragged into anything related to the business and that he wants her to take special care of Lulu. Dominic asks if he thinks Lulu likes him. He smiles and tells her she’s waiting outside for him.

Lulu and Dominic go to the pier where he tries, once again, to discourage her from protecting Sonny against his investigation. They argue for a few more minutes and then he tells her that while he and Sonny are on opposite sides on most things, they do agree on one thing; and that is that she’s special; and then he kisses her. Spinelli visits Maxie at Crimson and tells her that he cannot provide security for the art show on Friday. She tells him that she thinks it’s unfair that he always puts what Jason wants ahead of her and her needs.
Luke and Elizabeth talk about her involvement with Nikolas and he tells her that she owes Lucky the truth. She promises him that she won’t be with Nikolas again. She tells him that she can’t hurt Lucky by telling him the truth and she begs him not to tell him either. She goes to Wyndmere to confront Nikolas and why he didn’t tell her that Luke knew about their affair. She accuses Nikolas of wanting Lucky to find out.They argue for a few more minutes and then he asks her what she wants. She tells him that she wants to feel for Lucky what she can’t stop feeling for him; and then she turns and walks away from him.

Lucky visits Luke at the Haunted Star, thinking that Luke has summoned him to talk about Sonny and his involvement in Claudia’s disappearance and probable murder.Lucky tells Luke that despite his friendship with Sonny that if he finds evidence against Sonny, he’s not going to just be able to turn the other way and ignore it.Luke tells Lucky that he didn’t want to talk about Sonny; he just wants to make sure that Lucky is seeing everything there is to see as it relates to him and Elizabeth. He wants to tell Lucky about what he knows about Elizabeth and Nikolas; but doesn’t. It is clear that he wants Lucky to figure it out himself. Lucky tells Luke that he’s not ready to give up on Elizabeth just because Luke gave up on his mother; and that if he makes a mistake with Elizabeth then it is his mistake to make.

Dominic returns to Sonny’s office, where Sonny shows him the photo. He tells Dominic that Claudia is dead and he wants Dominic to help figure out who else knows. Dominic asks who killed her; and Sonny tells him that doesn’t matter and not to ask questions. In th e next scene we see Claudia’s murder scene with a woman that appears to be Claudia lying on the floor. Her eyes open and she asks if she can get up. When she gets up off the floor, the phone rings and a woman’s voice leaves a message relaying that everything is set up for the art show in Port Charles on Friday and nothing better go wrong like it did last time.
