General Hospital (Nearly Real-Time) Daily Recap 11/19/09

Rebecca tells Nik she’s known the truth he didn’t love her all along. Rebecca thinks Nik is still in love with Emily. (Little does she know.) Nik said he should not have let things go this far between him and Rebecca. Rebecca says it is sad to see Nik so heartbroken over a love he will never have. Rebecca wants to try again, and Nik just tells her to leave. Rebecca is very upset, but she leaves thinking Nik means he is still in love with Emily.

While Liz and Lucky are on their picnic, Lucky finds a “For Sale” sign, and he discusses building a house for Elizabeth on their lovely picnic site. Elizabeth tells Lucky she thought he wanted them to live in the Spencer family house. Lucky says that’s where his parent’s marriage broke up, and where their marriage broke up. Lucky shares with Liz, sometimes he feels like his father, and the family house starts to close in on him. He says that house was about the past, and he wants them to build a house about their future. They both imagine how happy they could be.

Lucky and Liz discuss how to pay for a new house. Elizabeth suggests they sell her house Jason bought for her, if Lucky didn’t mind. Liz once again tells Lucky how much she regrets re-marrying him when she knew she was in love with someone else, i.e. Jason. Lucky told Liz he didn’t care if they used the money from the home Jason bought her if it helped them to build their own dream house.

Spinelli shows up at Crimson and tells Maxie all the cameras are set up for security at the art show. Spinelli says the artist is a mysterious recluse and wonders why Maxie thinks he might show up for the show tonight. Maxie apologies to Spinelli for being hyper and snappish with him. Maxie explains to Spinelli why she is so excited about the art show and how much the show means to Crimson. Maxie says it is her job to make sure the artist shows up.

Dom and Jason meet with Sonny to go over details of the upcoming meeting with Joey Limbo at a brownstone in a residential area. Luke thought a residential brownstone would be “neutral territory” for the meeting, and a residential area may minimize the potential for violence. Sonny & Limbo agreed each could bring two men to the meeting. Sonny will take Jason and Dom because of Dom’s experience in the Zacharra organization. Jason asks about guards, and Sonny advises Max & Milo will drop them off, but they will not go in. Sonny says it is a risk worth taking if they can make peace between the two organizations. Sonny tells Dom he is depending on him, and if anything comes up at their meeting with Limbo, Dom needs to do what he has to do.

Sonny asks Dom again whether he found anything out about the Claudia death scene photo. Dom says he has a theory Johnny may have sent the photo because he is out of his mind with grief. Dom says if Johnny gets his hands on a crime scene photo, Johnny could go completely over the edge. Sonny tells Dom if Johnny is out of control, Johnny would need to be “dealt with”.

Johnny asks Olivia where she got the picture of Claudia’s death scene. Johnny looks at the picture and says it was as he thought, Claudia died at the cabin where Carly gave birth. When pressed on where she got the picture, Olivia says Dominic brought it by. Olivia indicates Dom thinks Johnny may have taken the picture. Johnny looks stunned and asks Olivia “is that what YOU think?” Johnny asks Olivia if she thinks he sent the picture to Jason. Olivia explains she knows Johnny is grieving and revenge would have to be on his mind. Johnny says Claudia did a lot of bad things, but she didn’t deserve what happened to her, and yes, he was thinking about revenge. Johnny said everyone always used his sister from the time they were kids, but she loved and trusted him. Johnny furiously advised Olivia, “if you think I sent this picture to anybody, that I am capable of treating her with that kind of disrespect after what Sonny did to her, then you don’t know me at all.” With that, Johnny stormed out on Olivia.

Mysterious person breaks glass on a picture in the mystery room. (Every time, I use the phrase “mystery,” insert Franco.)


At the penthouse, Jason checks his Box of Pain (BOP) where he keeps his gun, etc. Carly drops by and tells Jason she is worried he is being too hard on himself about Michael. Carly senses Jason is upset and lets Jason know she sees he is upset about more than the meeting and the stuff with Michael. Carly explains she knows Jason will not tell her what’s bothering him. Jason agrees he is not going to share his other concerns with Carly.

Carly invites Jason to visit Josslyn because everything seems better with a baby in your arms. Jason asks why Carly would ever want him near her baby. Carly says that’s why she hates Elizabeth because she made him give up his child. Jason says he cannot bring Jake back into his life. Jason says Lucky is a better father to Jake than he could ever be.

Lucky and Elizabeth continue planning and dreaming about building a house together. Lucky asks Liz if she is having second thoughts to tell him now. Elizabeth tells him she is excited about building their dream house. Lucky and Liz share a sweet kiss.

Lulu is standing on the docks and sees Johnny angrily kicking a phone booth. Lulu yells Johnny’s name, and he stops. Johnny apologizes for scaring Lulu. Johnny asks Lulu if all of what’s happened has changed the way Lulu thinks about Claudia. Lulu warns Johnny that he’s grieving, vulnerable and may say things to the wrong people. Lulu warns Johnny to be careful what he says around Dominic. Lulu tells Johnny Dom may not have his best interests at heart. Dom walks up.

Johnny thanks Lulu for her concern and tells her he will think about what she has said. Johnny leaves. Dom asks Lulu if something seems “off” about Johnny. Lulu tells Dom Johnny is a “good guy,” who is in a lot of pain, and she doesn’t think it is fair Dom is going to destroy him.

Lulu advises Dom she warned Johnny to be careful around him. Lulu says she cares about Johnny and doesn’t want him hurt. Dom tells Lulu to leave this alone and warns if she keeps running her mouth, she might get him whacked. Lulu says Johnny trusts Dom and needs him as a friend right now. Lulu says Johnny doesn’t know Dom is Olivia’s son, Detective Dante Falconeri who is about to take him down. Of course, Johnny is lurking nearby hearing every word. YIKES!

Sonny shows up at Olivia’s apartment. Olivia asks Sonny what he wants, and Sonny asks if Johnny has been there, and how Johnny is doing. Olivia tells Sonny, Johnny isn’t taking things well. Sonny advises Olivia he’s concerned Johnny may be out of control. Olivia assures Sonny he doesn’t need to worry about her safety with Johnny. Sonny tells Olivia that is exactly what his mother used to say. Sonny compares Johnny to his stepfather, Deke. Olivia tells Sonny she is not like his mother Adela, and she wouldn’t take crap off anybody. Olivia tells Sonny, Johnny has never raised a hand to her, and he never would. Sonny says he is worried Johnny is not thinking clearly and may be dangerous. Sonny says the Zacharras have hurt too many people he loves, and he doesn’t want Johnny to hurt her. Sonny wants Olivia to promise him if something seems “off” with Johnny or if she is ever afraid, she will call him. Olivia promises, in the name of Sonny’s mother, Adela she would call Sonny if she were ever afraid of Johnny.

Lulu and Lucky run into each other at the dock. Lulu asks Lucky, if a train were going to run over your friend would you tell your friend to get out of the way. Lucky doesn’t understand, so Lulu asks Lucky, “what if Dom is not what he appears to be?” Lucky tells Lulu Dom is exactly what he appears to be, an up & coming Wise Guy who wants a future in the mob. Lucky assures her, just as he has with Elizabeth, Lulu will find the right person when the time comes.

When Liz gets home from the picnic, she walks into her house to find Nik sitting there drinking brandy. Liz tells Nik to get out. Nik tells her he has a question that will determine whether he stays or goes. Nik asks, “do you feel about Lucky the way you feel about me?” Liz replies “what I feel when I’m with you scares me.” She tells Nik she and Lucky are going to have a life together. Nik says he feels guilty. (Yada, yada…all that talk is just foreplay for Nik & Liz.) Kissing ensues. Nik and Liz are panting and grunting all over the floor to nasty porn music, as Lucky walks up onto Liz’s porch and knocks on the door.

Johnny shows up at Olivia’s with flowers. He apologizes to Olivia for storming out. Olivia apologizes to him for implying he had anything to do with the picture. He tells Olivia he trusts her and needs her. Olivia wants Johnny to spend the night. He suggests they start with a bath in her big claw-footed tub. While Olivia goes to run the bath water, Johnny picks up one of Olivia’s pictures of Dom/Dante as a child. Olivia returns and announces the bath is ready. Johnny asks Olivia how her son, the fire-fighter is doing. Olivia tells him her son is doing fine. Johnny says he called the NYFD, and they had no listing for Dante Falconeri. Johnny says “maybe that’s because Dante is not a fire-fighter; maybe Dante Falconeri is an undercover cop.”

Mystery graffiti man sprays CO77x on the wall outside the brownstone where Limbo is telling his men that when Sonny arrives, they are going to welcome him “with open arms.” According to Limbo, Sonny’s bodyguards will exit the vehicle first. Limbo instructs his men to hold fire until Sonny & Jason exit the car. Limbo notices mystery graffiti guy and tells him to “get lost.” Mystery graffiti guy asks Joey Limbo if he can spare some change. Limbo throws some change on the ground for him. Mystery guy picks it up. Limbo’s henchmen ask if he wants them to get rid of the graffiti guy, and Limbo says, “No, he’s harmless.”
