General Hospital Daily Recap 11/30/09
Good Morning!
Here is what you missed if you didn't get a chance to watch yesterday's episode.
Franco
Episode begins with Franco looking at Maxie photos. He gets frustrated and throws them down and starts smashing things in the studio. Mystery woman comes in and he tells her next time to knock. She finds the pictures of Maxie and makes a reference to
him and Maxie and wonders why the chalk didn’t smear. He gets frustrated again and she asks him if Maxie is something special. He says no that she is just a means to an end. She’s connected to an artist whose work he’s come to admire. They talk for a few minutes more and he tells her that Maxie is bait. He gets upset when he can’t figure out why Jason didn’t want to meet him.
Sam and Jason
Sam and Jason are at the pent house where Sam gives him a recap of what he missed at Thanksgiving at Scrubs house. Sam notices Jason is distracted. He tells her that he went back to Front Street and figured out that if Joey Limbo went down where he thinks that he did then the homeless man most definitely would have seen him shoot those men.
They talk more about Franco being the homeless guy. Sam thinks that it doesn’t add up that a famous artist would pose as a homeless bum the night before a big exhibit. Jason says that he knows it doesn’t, but that someone still crushed Joey Limbo’s windpipe and posed the body and he wants to know why? They talk some more about Franco and the photo and try to determine if they are indeed one and the same person. Spinelli shows up distracted about Maxie. Spinelli says its unfair of Kate to expect Maxie to secure the photo shoot from Franco, so he tells Jason and Sam that he’s going to track him down and convince him to do it himself. Sam tells Spinelli that she and Jason would be more than happy to help him look.
Sam says that she’s sure that Kate would have had Maxie do a background check on Franco, so she leaves to go talk to Maxie. When she arrives at Crimson, she and Maxie make small talk for moment and then Sam tells her that Spinelli is worried that Kate is putting too much pressure on her to secure the Franco shoot. Maxie says that she has to get it. Sam comments that she read his bio at the art exhibit and that he seems pretty reculisive. Still, she found it weird he wanted to meet Jason so badly. Maxie says she thought so too and she also thought that it was really strange that Franco kept saying Jason was some type of artist as well.
Meanwhile Jason tells Spinelli to do a background check on Franco’s agent and anyone else connected to him. They discover that his last exhibit in Paris, which leaves them both wondering why he would come to Port Charles? They also find out that Franco’s passport says he’s been in US two months. Jason begins sorting his mail and finds the envelope that has the photo of Maxie which he hides from Spinelli.
Lulu and Dominic
Lulu finds Dominic on the docks where he is listening to the tape recording of him and Sonny talking about Claudia’s murder. Lulu shows up and playfully takes the tape recorder and is shocked to hear Sonny talking about the murder. Lulu wishes that she hadn’t heard it and gives back the tape recorder. Dominic tells Lulu she just can’t continue to believe that Sonny is some great guy. She asks him why he hasn’t turned him in yet if he’s so convinced of Sonny’s guilt. Dominic tells her that he thinks that he’s almost too close to Sonny. Lulu says now he probably feels like he’s not the cold ruthless person he thought he was. Dominic admits that he likes Sonny and he’s not who he thought he was. Still, that doesn’t change the bad things that Sonny has done.
Maxie and Spinelli
Maxie is on the phone at Crimson furiously trying to secure Franco for the
deal. When Spineilli shows up and notices how stressed Maxie is. He says he fears that she is pushing herself too hard. Maxie tells him that she’s worried that Kate will demote here because she didn’t secure the deal with Franco. Spinelli tells her that “the glacial one” should just be patient. She gets flustered and makes reference to the fact that she’s trashed her life again, which confuses Spinelli. Spinelli asks her to explain and she just keeps telling him she’s worried about her job at Crimson. He tries to comfort Maxie by telling her that she should be proud of the efforts she made with Franco. He offers to take her shopping at her favorite Couture store. She responds that he hates fashion; but he tells her that he would do anything for her. She declines his invitation saying that she has to work and do what she can to secure Franco for the shoot.
Sonny and Olivia
Sonny shows up at Kelly’s where he finds Olivia behind the counter. He teases Olivia and asks if Jax fired her for spending too much time with him. She assures him that her job at the hotel is fine; but that Mike cut his hand this morning and Bobby is still in Seattle, so she’s just helping out. He claims she has an ulterior motive that she just wants to prove she can cook better than Mike. She teases him and makes a comment about how he won’t get his hands dirty for one day to help out his Dad. He orders a bowl of chili with extra extra peppers and she heads back to the kitchen telling him “where she’s got his peppers!” He follows her into
the kitchen where he begins to give her some advice about cooking. Finally, exasperated by the unwelcomed help in the kitchen, Olivia stabs the cutting board and tells Sonny to do it himself if he thinks he can do better. Lo and behold, Sonny dons an apron and they start cooking side by side, each making their “best” chili recipe. They spend time talking about their youth and the time that they got caught kissing in the Aunt Theresa’s pantry.
Dominic shows up and sees them together. They try to convince him to be chili tester; but declines saying that it’s a battle he doesn’t want to get involved in. It is quite obvious that Dominic is not happy about seeing his mom having fun with Sonny. He leaves Kelly’s and calls Ronnie to come meet him saying that he has all the proof he needs to put Sonny away for good.
They share some more memories and Sonny remarks that he’s amazed she’s not married. He tells her that she’s going to make someone very happy one day. She tastes his chili and comments that it is not “terrible.” He wipes some chili from her face and then he kisses her.
Ronnie meets Dominic gives him tape that incriminates Sonny in Claudia’s murder. Why now? Worried about his mom getting too close to Sonny and that maybe if she can see him for who he really his, she’ll thank him for putting Sonny behind bars where he belongs. Ronnie tells Dominic that he doesn’t think that Olivia’s going to thank him for this. Dominic replies that he doesn’t care if his mother hates him as long as she’s safe.
Elizabeth/Lucky/Nikolas
Elizabeth and Diane meet at Elizabeth’s house. When Elizabeth apologizes for having to meet at her house, she reminds her that she is on Jason’s generous retainer which makes her a preferred customer. Elizabeth talks to Diane about selling her house as it relates to the legalities of the trust that Jason set up for her and the boys. Diane suggests that they keep the house and buy the new property as well. Elizabeth says she can’t afford it. Diane remarks that Jason would happily give her the money. Elizabeth replies no, she can’t take any more from Jason.
Nikolas comes to Elizabeth’s saying that he saw the for sale sign. She tells him about her and Lucky wanting to sell the house so they can afford the other property. He tells her that he knows and reminds her that he was there the other day hiding when they talked about it. He also tells her that while she discouraged Lucky from taking money from him that he was happy to give it them. Elizabeth gets upset and says that she resents the fact that he and Jason are always so willing to throw money at her and she wonders what that says about her.
At this point, Lucky comes in and Elizabeth warps to an alternate reality in which she tell Lucky that Nikolas is trying to pay her for sleeping with him. Lucky ends up calling her a whore and throwing money at her, telling her that he wants to make sure he stays in the loop as well.
Back to real reality: Elizabeth explains to Lucky that Nikolas is just trying to be generous. She tells Nikolas that it’s important to her and Lucky that they do this together, that they work hard to build their future. He leaves and Lucky asks Elizabeth what really happened and why was Nikolas really there. Elizabeth tells Lucky she was in bad mood from Diane’s visit. Tells her what Diane said about
Jason. She says she knows that Lucky would have a problem taking the money from Jason. He says that yes, he would. Lucky says that maybe they should sign the house over to Jason. She says no they need the money and he tell her they don’t if it upsets her so much. He tells her to be patient and they’ll take one thing at a time.
Later, Nikolas and Lucky are on the pier and Lucky apologizes to Nikolas, saying that he really has been great, and he deserves better. Lucky thinks it’s his own fault for putting too much pressure on Elizabeth with the engagement and house. He thinks Elizabeth is still feeling guilty about her affair with Jason. He asks Nikolas if he thinks Elizabeth would be better off if she was free.
Meanwhile Elizabeth finds old photo of four musketeers and starts crying.
Lulu show ups at Crimson and talks to Maxie. Maxie says she needs to act like an adult. Lulu wants to know if that means that Maxie is going to tell Spinelli the truth about Franco. She says no and Lulu tells her she’s making a big mistake. Maxie says all she needs to do is act like nothing happened and calm down and Spinelli will stop worrying about her.
