General Hospital - Coming This Week (and next) 1.31.9
Claudia, Sonny and Crazy Daddy Z
Last week, General Hospital ended with Claudia collapsing in the Board Room about to tell Sonny the truth behind who shot Kate. This week, Claudia is taken to ICU where she tries to reveal to Jason the truth about Anthony, but she is too weak. Claudia is dangerously ill, requiring a ventilator to breath. But, Claudia’s life is in more danger from Papa Z. Anthony concludes this is his perfect opportunity to silence Claudia once and for all, fearing she will spill the secret to Sonny about him shooting Kate. Anthony tries to disengage Claudia’s ventilator, but is interrupted by Sonny.
On a second try, Claudia pushes the call button, but Trevor comes in with the intent to do Anthony in himself. Luckily for Anthony, the nurse comes in, but does Anthony does give up? NOPE. On the third try, Sonny is waiting for Anthony. Unbeknownst to Daddy Z, Claudia has told Sonny that Anthony was behind Kate’s shooting. When Jason arrives, he convinces Sonny not to kill Anthony, he needs Anthony alive. Then Jason takes Anthony to another room, bounds him up and leaves him alone. What happens next? By this time, there’s a new crisis is underway at the hospital.
Maxie, Johnny, Robin and Baby Emma
Meanwhile, Maxie and Johnny are stranded together after their own car accident. They reveal to each other their hopes and dreams for the future. Johnny suggests they get the inevitable out of the way, and sleep together. But, before the two of them commit the deed, the two pull back from each other and re-think the mutual decision about having sex.
Johnny decides he may just be able to get them out of being trapped in the snow by putting snow chains on the tires. Once they are on the road, the two of them discover Robin lying in the snow, but baby Emma is nowhere to be found. Maxie is overly concerned about Robin.
Robin has discovered that Emma has high fever, and decides to drive the baby to General Hospital, despite the blizzard. Her car becomes stranded in the middle of the blizzard. She has gone for help when Maxie and Johnny find her.
Patrick and the Hospital
Over at General Hospital, Patrick, Spinelli, Nikolas, Winifred, Jason---everyone has their own opportunity to be a hero this week. But they are not all successful. The toxic crisis continues to grow more dangerous and deadly this week. Jason and side-kick Sam are racing around the quarantined hospital trying to find the missing chemical weapons; someone has swiped one of them out of the OR! The answer to who has taken the poison-filled sphere will be surprising! (GHOFS fans have a couple of RUMORS they have already read in previous blogs. Let’s see if they turn out to be true.) Also this week, Spinelli is convinced the toxic spheres must not fall into the hands of the FBI. No-one can be trusted.

ABC HOTSHEET.....
For the week of 2/2:
Things go from bad to worse as the crisis explodes (literally)! Robin and Emma are in danger, and someone dies.
The toxic crisis at General Hospital manages to get even more dangerous and deadly this week. Sam and Jason are racing around the quarantined hospital, trying to find the missing chemical weapons, and you won't believe who swiped 'em. Meanwhile, Patrick, Spinelli, Nikolas, Winifred -- everybody gets their chance to be a hero this week. But they're not all successful, and a character dies! It all leads up to an explosive event on Friday, which kicks the entire crisis onto another level altogether.
But don't think all the danger at the hospital is limited to deadly toxins -- there are also criminally insane fake-disabled mafia dads to deal with. Poor Claudia is confined to her hospital bed, and papa Anthony figures this would be the perfect time to silence her for good so she doesn't tell Sonny he shot Kate.
And then there's Robin, who is already on the brink of a serious emotional collapse, and that's BEFORE Emma starts spiking a fever. So Robin decides to drive the baby in to GH, and she ends up running out of gas and gets stranded in the middle of the blizzard. And that's not even the worst of it! Who's going to come to their rescue?
The answer to that might lie in Johnny and Maxie, who are still stranded from their own car accident. But before they venture out into the blizzard, they get drunk and lament their struggling relationships. Should they just get it over with and have sex with each other before they ruin things with Lulu and Spinelli on their own? Sounds like the kind of bad-idea decision making they're both famous for.
All this, PLUS: someone else finds out that Anthony shot Kate (someone with close ties to Sonny!), Nikolas FINALLY catches up to Rebecca!
As we have heard, Lucky should end up next to Liz’s bedside next week. According to several sources, we should see them for a few days including a montage and flashbacks. While Liz and Lucky reconnect deeply, Sam and Jason can’t help but take notice.
Robin leaves a message for Patrick that Emma is sick and she is on her way to GH. But when Patrick receives the message, the power is out, so he can’t get through to her because of the storm. Robin has no idea the hospital is on lockdown and she won’t be able to get in.
Claudia’s sickbed, Bruce Weitz says he is planning to rip out her breathing apparatus so it won’t work. He’s afraid she is going to tell Sonny that Anthony is the one who shot Kate.
But before sparks can fly, the OR is blown sky high! Natalia Livingston says that Nikolas has been seeing “Emily” in small flashes, out of the corner of his eye. She’ll be around the corner, but when he goes after her, she’s gone. He’s been looking for her, throughout the hospital, not sure if it’s his imagination or if it is for real. Finally, he runs up to her, she turns around and they meet…
Spinelli is convinced that Patrick and Jason should not let the FBI anywhere near the toxic spheres. No one trusts the FBI right now. One of the biotoxins has come up missing, and they are trying to cover their own butts.

One insider is saying that Nazanin Boniadi has confirmed that she is indeed dying off the show during the crisis next week. Claire Coffee’s expected last air date MAY be February 8th, but she will NOT be a victim of biotoxin. Is Nikolas saying goodbye to Nadine in the SPOILER Media Pics?
