Claudia ends up in really bad shape. She opts out of the medication the docs suggest and chooses surgery instead. Sonny regrets how he treated Claudia, but it may be too late. 
Can Sonny make it up to Claudia?
Meanwhile, Carly is be placed on strict bed-rest after rescueing Claudia from the near-miss of the exploding car.
Carly has a warning for Alexis. But did she see her car the night of the accident?
Sam is tries to convince her mother that Kristina may be the one who ran Claudia off the road that night. 
Alexis may be willing to go all the way to protect her family.

Sam and Jason suspect Michael and/or Kristina may have been involved in Claudia’s accident.
What will Diane think of the trouble Alexis seems to be digging herself into?
Jason is always there to assist Spinelli.
And Spinelli is always there to assist Jason.
Nikolas takes a tumble off one of his horses (so I hear). Look like nurse Liz will be there to rescue him! Will these two ever hook up? Would you be willing to give Liz and Nik (Lik? Niz? ) a try?
Edward continues to want to be in the middle of things regarding Michael. 
Michael breaks down when he is confronted by his dad.
Sonny continues to support Michael.
Edward always wants to order Sonny around.
What will come of Sonny and Olivia? What about Olivia and Johnny?
Is a fight between Jason and Nikolas coming up? That’s what’s stirring in the RUMOR mill. One source says Nikolas is pissed off at the world. He has discovered the truth about Rebecca. He runs into Jason, who is still on Rebecca’s side. One thing leads to another and the two end up fighting.
How does he learn the truth? It happens in stages, according to the RUMORS floating around. He figures out something is up between Rebecca and Ethan but he isn’t sure what. Then he learns about the con Rebecca and Ethan have planned against the Q’s and him. Remember, take this with a grain of salt, but it could happen!
But what’s happening in the SPOILER pic? From what I’m gathering, Nik has been injured while riding his horse. Rebecca just happens to be there to find him, then she cleans up his wounds. Will these two ever hook up?
One RUMOR says Drew is finished filming with the Quartermaines – for now.
There’s RUMBLINGS saying Ethan will get a phone call from Luke, then he takes off to after him. One RUMOR says that Ethan and Lucky may go after Luke. When Luke is found, he is with a young woman. Luke will claim he has been in captivity and has escaped on his own. No one will know if he is telling the truth or not. There are RUMORS that Ethan and Lucky will eventually bond as brothers.
SPUMORS say Alexis will go all the way to protect what is hers. She has people on her side willing to protect her. There’s one RUMOR out there saying the real driver is not anyone that the storyline is currently pointing to. After Claudia loses her baby, she is determined to seek revenge, and asks Uncle Rudy for help. He wants the Corinthos organization in exchange!
Keifer continues to keep Kristina under his thumb, even after Kristina and Michael return from their little “trip”. RUMORS suggest he may be holding what he knows over her head, and it gets bad.
Will Maxie accept Spinelli’s proposal? One source says she does accept the proposal at some point, then has reservations. We MAY see Maxie and Matt grow closer during the investigation into the Mayor’s wife.
Sebastian Roche returns shortly to revise his role as Jerry Jacks. He says he hopes that he can continue the roles indefinitely and loves the idea of playing Jerry Jacks on and off. He says Mr. Craig is back in full force doing all sorts of dirty and nasty things. RUMORS are saying Sam is taken hostage by Jerry while in Mexico searching for Kristina and Michael. Jason goes on a frantic search for Sam. Will Jason think Sam and Jerry are dead? He MAY return home, but something inside Jason tells him to doubt what he saw with his own eyes.
Who convinces Michael to come home after he runs away? It’s Dante. Little do they know they are brothers.
To catch things up, I’m starting out today with SPOILERS for the couple of weeks. I’ll bring you RUMORS a bit later. Here’s what’s coming up on our favorite soap, General Hospital.
This week, 7.20-24
As we know, Claudia ends up in a terrible car accident this week. Claudia has just learned that the baby she is carrying is Sonny’s and is rushing home to tell Sonny the news. When one of three people cause Claudia to flip her car, one of them could be one of Sonny’s kids! An angry Michael, a hurt Kristina and a tipsy Alexis. When the accident occurs, Carly is close by and saves Claudia by pulling her from the car just before it explodes. This accident will not be good news for either of the pregnant women.
Johnny heads over to tell Sonny about Claudia and finds Olivia and Sonny kissing! When Sonny learns from Johnny that Claudia has been in a car accident, he reluctant to believe him. Johnny also tells Sonny he is the father of Claudia’s baby, again not believing him. Claudia has a brain injury and later, Carly is admitted to the hospital requiring strict bed rest to avoid any stress. Robin and Patrick inform Sonny and Claudia that she needs medication as the next course of action for her injuries. However, the result could cause Claudia to miscarry her baby. Claudia refuses the medication but opts for surgery instead, putting her life in danger to save her baby. Before surgery, she informs Sonny that the baby she is carrying is his. Meanwhile, Sonny apologizes to Claudia for how he treated her before the accident. When Robin almost takes a tumble down the stairs (is it those dreaded stairs from hell again?), Patrick is put out of commission when he catches her, injuring his finger. The pressure is put on Matt when he becomes Claudia’s surgeon. Johnny threatens to kill Patrick if anything happens to his sister during surgery. Matt is successful, but by the end of the week, Kelly arrives with devastating news when Claudia learns that her baby has died during surgery.
Meanwhile, Michael admits to Jason that he thinks he could have caused the accident.
Jason assists in covering up any evidence that could lead to Michael.
In addition, Kristina believes she may have caused the accident and calls her sister, Sam. But will she tell her?
Later, Michael confesses to Kristina that he may have caused Claudia’s accident, but again, Kristina keeps the truth to herself that she too could have caused the accident. Sam learns that Alexis may have been on the road that night and could have also caused the accident. Michael decides to turn himself in to the police after he has convinced himself he is guilty of causing Claudia’s accident. Jason arrives just as Michael is admitting to Mac he is responsible. Despite protests by Diane and Jason, Mac has no choice but to arrest Michael. Meanwhile, Kristina is accusing her mother of letting Michael take the fall. Later, Jason and asks Robin to talk with Mac on Michael’s behalf. Robin is successful and has Michael released from jail.
Jason takes Michael to the Quartermaines after he is released from jail.
When Carly faints Jax rushes her to the hospital. She is placed on bed rest when they learn the slightest stress could cause Carly to have a fatal stroke. Jax keeps Michael’s situation from Carly. The truth doesn’t stay hidden long when she sees the local news. Carly’s stress level goes extremely high and puts her in danger of losing her baby. Carly is adamant that Michael did not cause Claudia’s accident. Meanwhile, Sam drops the bombshell on Alexis that Kristina could have been the one responsible for the accident.
Also this week:
Maxie arrives on the rooftop after following a series of clues left by Spinelli. Spinelli and Jason have turned the rooftop into a romantic wonderland, where Spinlli waits with the ring, which he drops on the roof! He is interrupted by noise pollution, but eventually gets back to his proposal.
With Max and Milo close by, Sonny confronts the country club president about his treatment of Michael.
Maxie is tempted by a beautiful engagement ring offered by Spinelli in hopes she will accept his hand in marriage. She asks for more time to decide.
Sonny sends Jason to Olivia’s to apologize, surprising both Dominic and Olivia when answering the door.
Sam questions Alexis parenting skills.
Olivia denies Dominic’s observation about her and Sonny. He admits to Olivia that Sonny is his employer.
Diane confronts Alexis, asking if there is any possible way she could be responsible for Claudia’s accident.
Alexis asks Sam if it’s possible for her and Spinelli to erase footage of her at the Mayors house.
Next Week, July 27-31
When Sonny confronts Michael, he breaks down.
Carly accuses Alexis of framing Michael.
Sam becomes more convinced of Kristina’s guilt and shocks Alexis with her theory about Kristina.
Claudia plots to avenge her unborn child’s death.
Kristina refuses to leave Michael.
Alexis makes a surprising confession in order to protect Kristina.
Ethan is ready for a fresh start from Rebecca.
Sam and Jason team up to find Kristina and Michael.
When Maxie sees Spinelli with Mac, she panics.
Carly picks up on the sparks between Olivia and Sonny.
Lucky and Ethan become unlikely allies.
Kristina and Michael skip town when they head for Mexico.
Olivia continues to fight her feelings for sonny.
Jerry Jax is back, and plans to use Michael as a pawn to get Jason.

General Hospital fans got their first peek at the sexy and charming Aussie in 1996 when Rademacher was cast as the mysterious and wealthy businessman, Jasper “Jax” Jacks. When he first came to Port Charles, Jax set out to win the heart of Lois Cerullo. Lois was already paired with Ned Ashton at the time. Eventually Jax fell in love with Brenda Barrett and the two had an on again off again relationship for years. Even though Brenda loved Jax, her love for Sonny Corinthos always seemed to get between them. Jax and Brenda found their ending but it wasn’t a happy one. Jax left Brenda at the altar after witnessing her farewell kiss to Sonny before the wedding. Jax eventually found happiness with Carly Corinthos, even though their relationship has been a bit of a roller coaster ride.
Rademacher hails from Iserlohn-Letmathe, West Germany. When Rademacher was 10, he and his family bought a ranch and moved to New South Wales, Australia. By that time, the always-athletic Rademacher was an accomplished horseman. He also sang in a band in his teen years. While in college, Rademacher worked as a model.
Rademacher’s first television job came when he was cast as Sean Hayden in the nighttime Australian soap, Paradise Beach. Rademacher worked on the soap for two years. Upon moving to the United States, Rademacher appeared in a number of prime time television shows including Echo Point, Clueless, and Veronica’s Closet. During his departure from General Hospital, Rademacher appeared in 12 episodes of Aaron Spelling’s nighttime soap, Titans in 2000 and 2001.
Rademacher also won the Soap Opera Digest award for “Hottest Male Star” in 1997 and again in 1998.

Rademacher and fiancée, Ehiku, divide their time between California and Hawaii. They have one child, Peanut Kai Rademacher, born on July 11 2008. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Ingo spoke fondly of assisting with his son’s birth in the couple’s home.

Claudia gets the news she is hoping for, Sonny is the father of her baby. When she finds out Jason has told Sonny about her involvement in Michael’s shooting, her world comes crashing down – she finds out Sonny has gone to seek comfort in the arms of Olivia. Olivia and Sonny come close to making love, but they are interrupted by a phone call informing Sonny that the baby Claudia is carrying is his. He learns that she is in danger of losing her unborn child. 
What happened? Claudia is in an accident.
Carly is there to rescue her when she finds Claudia behind the wheel of an overturned car. Carly has to drag Claudia out of the car just before it explodes – Carly saves Claudia’s life!
Who hit Claudia? Michael? Kristina? Someone else?
When Michael is confiding in Kristina that he may have caused the accident, she tries to convince him that it could have been someone else who caused the accident. But she doesn’t reveal that she too was on the road that night. Michael feels the right thing to do is to go to the police and tell the truth.
Carly, however saw a small, light colored car that she thinks may belong to Alexis. Kristina overhears Diane asking Alexis if she could have caused the accident. Carly is determined to clear Michael. Will she convince everyone that Alexis was the guilty party?
Keifer advices Kristina not to come forward. Will Kristina confide in Sam?
What will Molly think of all this?
When Alexis is blaming Michael, Sam asks Alexis if Kristina could be the one to blame.
When Jason tries to stop Michael from turning himself in, it is too late. He is arrested by Mac, but he is shortly released on bail.

Olivia is not happy when Dante tells her he is working for Sonny!
How will Johnny fit into all this. Will he begin to figure out a connection between Olivia and “Dominic”? 
And what about those RUMORS that have been floating around a long time that Dante is really an under cover agent?
Grandpa Mike is rents out a room to Dante, his grandson.
Spinelli and Maxie make love.
Spinelli shakes things up with an impromptu marriage proposal, but Jason advises Spinelli to slow things down. When Kate offers Maxie an unexpected promotion, Maxie believes not accepting Spinelli’s proposal was the right thing to do. Spinelli turn to Diane and Max for advice. He is determined to get a “yes” and turns to the public address system at the Metro Court. Then, he sends Maxie a poem of clues in hopes she will follow the them to the romantic destination he has prepared for them.
Sonny is not happy when trouble is brought on by Keifer for Michael, causing him to
be insulted by the president of the country club.
