Lulu and Maxie at their Apartment
Episode opens in Lulu and Maxie's apartment. Lulu is dressed and ready for Thanksgiving Dinner with her Grandmother Lesley, Lucky, Elizabeth, Audrey, Cam, and Jake. Maxie walks out of her bedroom in her housecoat looking rode hard and put up wet. Lulu asks if Maxie succeeded in getting Franco to agree to the Crimson photo-shoot. Maxie acts as if she got the photo-shoot, and Maxie confides to Lulu she slept with Franco. Lulu is taken aback by Maxie’s confession, but Maxie acts as if it were no big deal assuring Lulu, sex with Franco “would not happen again.”
Lulu suggests Spin would not be happy with news of Maxie sleeping with Franco. Maxie explained to Lulu Franco was on her "Free Pass List.” (Recapper’s Note: Please insert all the eye-rolling you can muster for Maxie’s explanation.) According to Maxie, this is a "list" of "special" people with whom it is acceptable to have sex if the opportunity presents itself. Maxie implies sex with someone on the “Free Pass List,” does not invoking implications of "cheating" in an otherwise exclusive relationship. Maxie tells Lulu movie star Anne Hathaway is on Spin’s “Free Pass List.” Lulu still doesn’t think Spin will take this well.
With Maxie treating sex with Franco as a momentary lapse in judgment, Lulu questions, "you are going to tell Spinelli, aren't you?” From the look on Maxie's face and her lack of reply, it seems doubtful Maxie intends on telling Spinelli.
The Jacks’ Household
Carly tells Michael she and Jax need some space, so Carly arranged Thanksgiving without Jax. While Jax spends time with Baby Jocelyn, Carly plans to join Michael and Morgan at Kelly’s with Mike, Sonny, and Bernie. Jax arrives, and Michael and Jax shake hands wishing each other a Happy Thanksgiving. Morgan hugged Jax goodbye and left with Carly and Michael for Kelly’s.

Moments later, Jax is cooing and talking sweetly to Baby Jocelyn when Carly and the boys return announcing her car won't start. Jax tells them he will see if he can get Carly's car started. As Jax leaves, Morgan looks very pleased with himself. Michael begins to catch on and asks Morgan if he sabotaged the car to strand their Mom and Jax together.
Michael explains to Morgan Carly and Jax need space. Morgan doesn't care. Morgan reminds Michael when he wanted their Mom and Dad together he did the same type thing locking Carly and Sonny in the basement. Morgan told Michael, "I am big brother now, and I have to look out for Jocelyn.”
Jax returns shortly with the bad news. He doesn’t know what is wrong with the car, but he didn’t think the car is going to budge. Jax offers Carly and the boys his car to go to Kelly’s, and they head out the door again. Almost immediately, Carly and the boys return announcing to Jax his car would not start either! Carly takes all this as a sign for them to stay where they are, and Carly turns her attention to figuring out what they would have for dinner.
Alexis’ House
Diane arrives at Alexis' house unannounced with a sweet potato casserole and a car trunk-load of wine. Alexis is glad to see Diane, but she's also a bit confused. Alexis asks Diane if she invited her for dinner. Alexis tells Diane she invited her last year, but Diane declined. Wistfully, Diane explains to Alexis last year, she didn't need Thanksgiving dinner she had Max, and they spent the Holiday in bed.
Adorably dressed with hair in curls little Molly enters just in time to hear Diane extol her previous Thanksgiving in bed with Max. Diane apologizes, but Molly says since she is 11 years old, it's OK for Diane to share about her romantic love-making with Max. Alexis explains to Diane she is taking the girls to the Country Club for Thanksgiving and invites Diane to accompany them. Quickly Molly interjects telling Diane they have plans maybe another time like Christmas. Alexis is appalled at Molly's lack of hospitality.
Alexis excuses herself to finish getting ready, and Molly gives Diane a $1 retainer to hire her explaining she needs attorney/client privilege for what she is about to tell Diane. Molly explains that since Alexis has such bad taste in men, she, Kristina, and Sam are taking the initiative to set Alexis up with the “perfect man" for Thanksgiving. Diane gives Molly back her $1 telling Molly for Alexis and love "you get my service pro bono."
As Alexis re-enters the room Diane tells Molly she doesn't want to miss this and asks if she can come along. As an increasingly curious Alexis stands by, Molly explains to Diane she can’t invite her because they were invited as guests in someone else’s home. To Alexis' complete surprise, Molly tells her they accepted. Diane gets a phone call and makes a work excuse to leave saying to a thoroughly perplexed Alexis, "I am so happy for you."
The No-Name Restaurant – Sonny’s Mob HQ
Meanwhile Sonny called Milo at the No-Name restaurant, Sonny's new mob headquarters growling to Milo about being tired of Max moping around love-sick missing Diane and Diane spending so much time in Philly. Sonny instructed Milo to get Max and Diane back together. Milo enlists Spinelli’s assistance. Max arrives, grumpily greeting Spin and Milo, before retiring to Sonny’s restaurant office to do some work.
Expecting to find Sonny in need of her legal services, Diane arrives at the No-Name, where she is greeted by Milo and Spin. Spin advises Diane she was called there on a most urgent matter concerning Max. Spin tells her since Max's accident, he has been unable to "perform.” Diane thinks it means Max can’t “perform” sexually, which was precisely Spinelli’s implication.

Diane rushes in to the office to check on her poor, but remarkably flexible big teddy bear, Max. Concerned, Diane tells Max that Milo and Spin told her about his “performance” problem. Max asks why she would you listen to them. Diane replied, “They told me you missed me.” Max drops his pants and replies, “I do miss you.” Delighted, Diane responds, “today of all days I give thanks for you.”
The Docks – Ethan and Kristina
Ethan runs into Kristina who is walking on the docks carrying some pumpkin cookies. Kristina asks Ethan if they have Thanksgiving in Australia. Ethan explains Australia does have Thanksgiving, but it is in March. Kristina asks if Ethan had plans implying he could accompany her to dinner with her family if he didn’t. Ethan replied he didn’t have plans but perhaps he would take a little time to visit his own family.
The Scorpio-Drake HomeSam arrives as Robin is re-arranging her living room with table and chairs preparing for a huge Thanksgiving Dinner. Sam tells Robin she feels a little uncertain about their secret plan to push Mac and Alexis together. Robin assures Sam they are not “pushing anything”; they are merely putting two consenting adults in one room. Robin tells Sam everyone noticed chemistry between Mac and Alexis at Spixie’s non-wedding. Robin and Sam discuss what Alexis and Mac have in common. Patrick enters busily setting up the table and chairs comments he thinks they are inviting catastrophe, but he‘s along for the ride.

Mac arrives with beer in hand ready to watch some football. Mac sees the dining table and chairs set up where he planned to watch football, and he wants to know what happened to the couch. Patrick tells Mac they can watch football in the smaller den. Mac complains there’s no hi-def in the den. When Sam walks past Mac, he asks, “Jason isn't coming, is he?”
Mac continues to grouse about already having to eat Thanksgiving with Spinelli because of Maxie, making it clear that was bad enough without throwing Jason in as well. Mac begins asking Sam about her statement in Claudia’s disappearance. Robin tells Mac no police work today. It’s Thanksgiving, and Sam is their guest. A little while later, Mac announces he’s going over to the police station. Robin tells Mac in no uncertain terms, if he leaves, it would be over her dead body. Mac shuts up.

Matt surprises his hosts arriving for dinner with Patrick’s ex-college girlfriend, Lisa. They join Patrick and Mac watching football in the den. Mac and Matt chat about sports while Lisa tells Patrick she is excited to meet Emma and expresses amazement Patrick has turned into a doting dad.
Alexis, Molly, and Kristina arrive at Scrubs’ house. Mac tries to leave again, and Robin grabs him. Mac asks Patrick why Alexis is there for dinner. Patrick pleads “The Fifth”. Mac and Alexis realize they were lured into Thanksgiving Dinner together.
The Davis girls introduce themselves to Lisa and briefly explain why they want to set up Alexis with Mac. They tell Lisa a little about their Mom’s love life:
Kristina: My dad's a mobster.
Molly: My dad's a mob lawyer.
Sam: I don't know who my dad is.
Patrick: and Jerry was a terrorist.
Mac and Alexis tell the girls, “we know what you are up to, and it won't work.”
Maxie’s ApartmentMaxie is on the couch crying having flashbacks of sex with Franco. Spinelli thinks Maxie has the flu, and he arrives with Turkey Soup and tissues.
The Quartermaine Mansion
The Q's including Monica, Tracy, Edward, and Rebecca are sitting around the living room. Edward instructs Alice to order pizza. Luke pops in. Tracy asks Luke if Bobbie ran out of liquor since she thought Luke would be celebrating Thanksgiving at Bobbie’s. Luke replied Bobbie would never have a dry Holiday but Bobbie was in Seattle visiting Lucas. Luke also explained Lucky and Liz were spending the Holiday with the rest of his family, but he wasn’t interested in that, so he thought he would hang with his “Spanky Buns” and the Q’s. Alice announces Ethan’s arrival. Tracy snarks a bit, but Edward points out Ethan helped save his life at the carnival, and Ethan would always be welcome in his home. Lulu also stops by.
While everyone at the Q's grabs pizza, Tracy is glad to see Ethan and Luke spending their first Thanksgiving together. Rebecca asks Monica how the Q Pizza tradition started. Edward tells Rebecca they also have another tradition, and he starts singing "We Gather Together" as the others exchange looks and giggle, but decline to join Edward singing. Edward growls, “come on people” trying to get them to sing, as they rush out of room.
GH ends with an instrumental of “We Gather Together” and a montage of:
Carly, Jax, and the kids eating junk food;
Diane, Max, and Milo toasting to Thanksgiving wishing;
Spin giving Maxie soup;

Scrubs and guests joining hands around the table as Little Emma sits on Robin’s lap;

And, the Q’s look into the camera and wish us all HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
